It is a process that involves extracting the tooth's soft pulp from both the crown and the root in order to save a severely decaying, broken, or dead tooth. The tooth's pulp is found in the tooth's root and crown core. It's similar to preserving a dead tooth by mummification. When a significant cavity or injury exposes the tooth's pulp and the root becomes inflamed or infected, root canal therapy is required. If the tooth is uncomfortable, the dentist might numb it. The pulp chamber is accessible through a hole created in the tooth's crown. Unhealthy pulp is extracted from the canals and the infection is cleaned with special files. The filler material's channels are then shaped. Debris is removed from the canals and cleaning is assisted by irrigation. Gutta-percha cones, a permanent inert rubber substance, are used to fill the canals. This fills in the dead space and keeps the canals clear of contaminants or illness.
